The Grundfos fieldbus concept is the ideal solution for complete control of pumps and pump systems. The Communication Interface Module (CIM) and the Communication Interface Unit (CIU) enable data communication via open and interoperable networks. The Grundfos CIM/CIU communication interfaces offer ease of installation and commissioning, user-friendliness, and great value for money in the long term. All modules are based on standard functional profiles for easy integration into the network and easy understanding of data points. CIM modules are add-on modules that allow communication with 11 to 22 kW E-pumps and the new Dedicated Controls for wastewater pumps. The CIU communication interface unit is for products with a GENIbus interface such as small E-pumps, circulation pumps and boosters. CIU units have an integrated 24 to 240 V power supply and are prepared for wall-mounting or DIN-rail mounting.
The CUE series are frequency converters for the speed control of a wide range of Grundfos pumps. The Grundfos CUE is the latest addition to our E-solution range of speed-controlled pump systems designed for a series of applications such as industry, building services, municipal or private water supply, wastewater and irrigation. This new series of wall-mounted frequency converters with features and functions for Grundfos pumps and a special user interface offers features similar to those of the Grundfos E-pumps, which are fitted with motors with an integrated frequency converter.
Grundfos DDI pumps provide Digital Dosing from 75 ml/h up to 150 l/h with real setting of the flow rate. The integrated high-performance microelectronics and the innovative speed-regulated drive technology produce a precise and continuous dosing guaranteeing consistent media mixing and process quality. The dosing rate is simply entered in liters per hour – and the pump takes care of the rest. The use of stepper motor/EC drives optimizes control of the stroke speed and makes it extremely accurate. The duration of each pressure stroke varies according to the flow setting. The suction stroke time always remains constant but can be lengthened using the anti-cavitation function and thus adapted to the relevant needs. This way suction always takes place with the full stroke volume. This results in continuous dosing and lower pulsation in the dosing system – important factors in ensuring smooth pumping of outgassing media and in installations requiring longer suction lines.
The Grundfos DMH range is a series of extremely strong, robust pumps for applications requiring a reliable dosing and high-pressure capability, such as process engineering. The DMH 28x has been especially designed for high-pressure applications from 50 up to 200 bar. The range is highly versatile: it covers a wide flow range and offers a variety of dosing head sizes, materials and accessories. Customers worldwide have enjoyed years of trouble-free operation from their DMH pumps. DMH pumps have a very high dosing accuracy and allow an exact reproducibility. For DMH25x, the dosing flow fluctuation is <± 1.5 % within the 10-100 % control range, and the linearity deviation is ± 2 % of the full-scale value. For DMH28x, the dosing flow fluctuation is <± 1.0 % within the 10-100 % control range, and the linearity deviation is ± 1 % of the full-scale value.

Grundfos NK/NKG pumps are used in water supply, industrial pressure boosting, industrial liquid transfer, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), irrigation and process industries. Grundfos end-suction pumps are multi-purpose pumps suitable for a variety of different applications requiring reliable and cost-efficient supply. End-suction pumps are used in five main areas of application: water supply, industrial pressure boosting, industrial liquid transfer, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), and irrigation. The pumps are all non-self-priming, single-stage, centrifugal volute pumps with axial suction port, radial discharge port and horizontal shaft. The Grundfos NK/NKG range comprises a complete series of long-coupled pumps that comply fully with either EN733 or ISO2858. The pumps are of the back pull-out design, enabling removal of the motor, coupling, bearing bracket and impeller without disturbing the pump housing or pipework. Even the largest pumps can thus be serviced by one person with a crane. The ISO2858 range of pumps are available with a bearing life of 100,000 hours, and can be fitted with double seals. They available in a stainless steel version as an option.
An ideal means of ensuring the cleanliness of drinking water is to use chlorine dioxide as a disinfectant. Chlorine dioxide is highly effective against all types of germs and has a long residual time in the system, meaning that it disinfects even without extracting water. The big advantage of chlorine dioxide over other disinfectants is its effectiveness against biofilms. The chlorine dioxide production system, Oxiperm Pro OCD-162, is the perfect solution for fighting Legionella and other germs in drinking water. Oxiperm Pro OCD-162 systems produce chlorine dioxide using diluted solutions of sodium chlorite (NaClO2, 7,5 %) and hydrochloric acid (HCl, 9 %). The systems are available in four capacity levels, producing 5, 10, 30 or 60 g/h of chlorine dioxide. This capacity is sufficient to treat up to 150 m3 of drinking water per hour at the maximum admissible concentration of 0.4 mg/l ClO2.
Selcoperm electrolytic chlorination systems produce hypochlorite solution from a solution of common salt using electricity, without creating any notable by products. The produced hypochlorite solution has a pH value between 8 and 8.5 and a maximum equivalent chlorine concentration of less than 8 g/l. Due to its long half-life, it is ideal for storage in a buffer tank. Key components in the Selcoperm unit include an electrolysis system, storage tanks for the saturated salt solution and product solution, an exhaust fan for removing any hydrogen produced, and dosing pumps for the product solution. The concept is rounded off with a measuring and control unit for chlorine dosing. The electrolysis system is supplied as a turn-key solution. Only the pipework for the water supply, the connections of the salt and product storage tanks as well as the exhaust pipe have to be installed. The size of the storage tanks depends on the capacity level of the system and the amount of disinfectant solution required.
The gas dosing systems Vaccuperm VGB and VGA are designed for the safe and accurate dosing of gaseous chlorine. This series is available in measuring ranges for up to 10,000 g/h chlorine.
